Our Lady of the Valley is located in the northeastern corner of Oregon, in the city of La Grande, and is part of the Diocese of Baker.
The church was originally constructed in 1914, and looks much the same as it did back then.
In 2008 Fr. Christopher Agoha, SMMM, was appointed pastor. He is joined by Fr. Daniel Ochiabuto, SMMM, as Associate Pastor and
Fr. Anthony Ihemekwele, SMMM in residence.

Our priests also serve at our sister parishes of Sacred Heart in Union, St. Mary's in Elgin, and St. Anthony's in North Powder.
