In memory of Augustine Gangloft.

The first priest attending the then mission of La Grande was Fr. L. Dielman and he celebrated Mass for Catholic settlers at the home of Augustine Gangloft. The first resident priest, Fr. R. Hartlieb, lived with the Gangloft family in 1880.
